The Space Derby

Our ward Cub Scout pack tried their first Space Derby yesterday. Logan's ship did really well being among the fastest ones there. He won the Speedy Gonzales award. A good time was had by all.

There were some cute kids at my house this weekend.

Our Christmas Vacation

We traveled to Colorado last December to spend Christmas with my parents. Here's some of what happened.

When we got off of the plane, this is what was waiting for us.

While Jon and my Dad fixed the flat, Logan and Lexi waited patiently in the car.

We visited a small lake by my parents house. Logan showed off his Taekwondo skills and chopped a piece of ice.

While Lexi just looked cute.

We took a drive up to Estes Park. On the way we came across The Stanley.

(fans of The Shining might recognize this)

Lexi got bored.

We only saw one elk.

We took a family picture.

We visited an airplane museum. They had little plane the kids could "fly".

The kids had fun flying the 747, too.

They got to make their own planes.

And best of all......an X-Wing. That was my favorite.
